- My Murphy's Law life in a nutshell...I had gastroparesis and intestinal pseudo-obstruction from 1994-March 2006 when I had a five organ transplant (small bowel, stomach, liver, pancreas, duodenum). I believe I had less than a week of life left when I received my organs after a 16 month wait in Pittsburgh. It's a miracle I am alive and doing well considering my doctors did not expect me to even survive the operation, muchless even live long enough for the organs to come. God has something special planned for me I know and He is working in me every day to accomplish His goals for my life! That helps me get through the tough times.
